Training Dashboard
Privacy Policy
Effective July 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Training Dashboard collects, uses, stores, and shares information when athletes, coaches, and administrators use the application.
Information we collect
- Account information: identifiers provided through Google or Supabase authentication, including user ID, email address, display name, and profile image when available.
- Training information: workouts, mileage, splits, athlete notes, coach session notes, race plans, recovery information, readiness submissions, and app settings.
- Coach and team information: coach applications, coach-athlete relationships, team groups, memberships, and coach-managed sheet assignments.
- Google Sheets connection information: the connected Google account email, authorization tokens, selected spreadsheet identifiers, worksheet names, and imported training values when an entitled coach enables this integration.
- Technical information: limited browser storage and operational logs needed to authenticate users, restore sessions, synchronize data, diagnose errors, and protect the service.
How we use information
We use information only to provide, secure, maintain, and improve Training Dashboard. This includes synchronizing an athlete's dashboard, displaying readiness and training information to authorized users, supporting accepted coach relationships, importing selected training data, and responding to support or deletion requests.
Google user data
Training Dashboard requests the minimum Google permissions needed for the feature a user chooses:
- Google Sign-In provides identity information used to authenticate the account.
- The optional Google Sheets integration requests read-only spreadsheet access so an approved, entitled coach can import training from a selected sheet.
Training Dashboard does not edit or delete Google Sheets, use Google user data for advertising, sell Google user data, or use Google user data to train generalized artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
Training Dashboard's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Storage and security
Application data is stored with Supabase. The application uses database access controls to separate athlete, coach, and administrator access. Google refresh tokens are stored server-side and are not returned to browser clients. Account-scoped browser storage may be used to support local-first operation and session restoration; private cached data is isolated or cleared when an account signs out.
No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the current limited beta.
When information is shared
We do not sell personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that operate the application, including Supabase, Vercel, and Google, subject to their applicable terms and privacy practices. Athlete information is shown to a coach only when the coach is approved and the coach-athlete relationship is accepted. We may disclose information when legally required or necessary to protect users, the service, or others.
Retention, access, and deletion
Information is retained while needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the application. Coaches can disconnect Google Sheets from Settings. Users may request access, correction, export, or deletion of their account information by contacting us. Disconnecting Google Sheets stops future access but does not automatically remove training data that was previously imported into the dashboard.
Children
Training Dashboard is designed for college-age and adult endurance athletes and coaches. It is not directed to children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the beta and its features evolve. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
